What are the benefits of synthetic lawn?
The main benefit of synthetic grass is that it requires next to no maintenance. You don’t need to mow the lawn, water it or use any toxic pesticides for it to look perfect all year round. It is also suitable for all areas, for example in a backyard with little natural light, where real grass can’t grow. Synthetic lawn is a pet friendly surface and is also a great option for young children.
How much does synthetic lawn cost?
The price of your installation depends on a number of factors, including the size of the job, the amount of preparation required and the access. We offer quoting appointments free of charge for a detailed and accurate quote, but if you’re interested in just getting an approximate idea of how much your project costs, please give us a call and we can give you an estimate over the phone.
My area currently has grass or dirt on it. What’s involved in the installation?
If your backyard has real grass or dirt, we prepare the area by excavating to approximately 70mm below the finished height. Then we fill up the area with crusher dust, level and compact it to ensure the finished result is perfectly level and smooth. We install the synthetic lawn over the top of the compacted crusher dust layer and secure it around the edges using 150mm u-pins. If there are any joins required, we use industry standard joining tape and specialised synthetic grass outdoor glue. Once the lawn is secured, we fill it in with either sand or our pet friendly granules and brush it using a power broom tool. This part of the installation ensures that the backing is protected, the lawn stands up nicely and, if you have pets, will stay smell free with our pet fresh infill.
My area currently has pavers or tiles. What’s involved in the installation?
If synthetic lawn is installed over tiles or pavers, it requires a lot less preparation and can be laid straight over the area. The grass is secured with glue around the edges. How do I care for my synthetic lawn?

The easiest way is to use a leaf blower, but you can also use a broom or a rake. If you have pets, your lawn might need a little more maintenance. If your pets do your business on your synthetic lawn, pick it up straight away. You can hose it down and if you notice a smell after a while, there are products you can use to give the grass a proper clean.
